I'M Roy Halpern

I have been photographing The Brown Bears of Alaska for 20 years. I usually travel alone. Flying into remote areas, walking the salmon streams and rivers looking for my bears.

My pictures are right out of my camera, minimal manipulations to the photos. Most photos are minimally zoomed as I am able to get very close to the bears.
